Biography
Kristen Neill is joining the Institute of Biosciences and Technology as the Assistant Director of Student Affairs. She began her career in education as a high school Physics teacher in both Spring Branch ISD and Cypress Fairbanks ISD. After 13 years in the classroom, Dr. Neill transitioned to administration. Her administrative career includes serving as a Campus Instructional Coach, Assistant Principal, and, most recently, Director of Instruction. She also served as an adjunct professor at Hardin Simmons University and Angelo State University. Dr. Neill graduated from Hardin Simmons University with a Bachelor of Science in Biology, a Master of Education in Gifted Education, and a Doctor of Education in Leadership. Dr. Neill is a native of Abilene, Texas, but has lived in Houston for more than 20 years. She is married to Curtis, and together they have four daughters - Candice, Crystal, Lilly, and Hattie.
